SATURDAY,  AUGUST 29, 2026 | 5–7:30 PM: We are delighted to invite you to discover The Love Series by artist Alejandro Gutierrez at our new art gallery in River Oaks.

The work presented by this talented mid-career artist is the culmination of 15 years of professional artistic growth and personal development. Alejandro exemplifies the spirit of success as a talented creator who opened doors by way of perseverance, dedication, and commitment to his art.

After several successful art series where he continues to develop in his medium of predilection— oil on canvas— we are honored to present The Love Series. In these paintings the viewer will discover drawings that mutate and disappear into layers of delicately fading colors inviting the eye to search for more in each painting as if to decipher an enigma. Gutierrez’s classic academic style has taken a turn for a more experimental abstract technique where he combines the pictorial with dream like elements.

In this exhibition, the viewer is invited to reflect on his or her own experiences and interpretation of what “Love” means to them.
