EXHIBIT ON VIEW OCTOBER 2–17, 2026: RUBY Projects presents They Cannot See the Glass, an exhibition of glass sculptures by Stella Chrone, its latest artist-in-residence at LaRucheHTX in Houston’s Museum District.

Chrone’s sculptures permanently house living ant colonies inside vessels of glass and desert sand. As the ants excavate tunnels and pathways, they continuously transform each sculpture, creating a living work that changes over time.

ARTIST RECEPTION: Friday, October 9, 2026 | 5–9 PM

VIEW THE WORKS IN PROGRESS: Stella Chrone is in residence at LaRucheHTX through October 17. Visitors can stop by before the exhibition to see her works in progress Friday–Sunday, 11 AM–3 PM, or by appointment.
