EXHIBIT ON VIEW SEPTEMBER 24–OCTOBER 6, 2026: PAC Art House, in partnership with Plural Arte Cultura, presents Poetics of Matter, a group exhibition exploring materiality as a source of meaning, memory and transformation.

Spanning sculpture, textiles, painting, ceramics, drawing, installation and mixed media, the exhibition features works by Alejandro Corujeira, Andrés Anza, Ayla Tavares, Claribel Calderius, Dani Cavalier, Firmo & Salgueiro, Janaina Mello Landini, Laura Sánchez Filomeno, Marlon de Azambuja, and Yuli Yamagata.

OPENING RECEPTION: Thursday, September 24, 2026 | 6–8:30 PM

Through clay, rope, concrete, velvet, human hair, shells, discarded fabrics and other materials, the artists investigate relationships between body and landscape, nature and culture, memory and perception. Materials are unraveled, stitched, molded, embroidered, layered and transformed—revealing the histories, knowledge and lived experiences they carry.

Together, the artists propose a vision of matter as active, relational and alive, inviting viewers to reconsider the materials surrounding them and the often-invisible forces they embody.
