EXHIBIT ON VIEW OCTOBER 2–NOVEMBER 8, 2026: LAR Gallery presents Intent Possibilities: Anthony Francis,  a visual conversation between two photographic portrait series. The central assumption is that the camera is a tool of extraction and fixity, so encryption and ambiguous gestures accompany reflection and sitter scale as performances of love and communal linguistics. It’s not that we are all the same, but we have experienced similar treatment. Therefore, the visual poetry of Anthony Francis meets the communal acts of the sitters. All viewers must then buy their way in.

Intent Possibilities features the work of Anthony Francis, and is curated by Mark Francis.

OPENING RECEPTION: Friday, October 2, 2026 | 6:30–8:30 PM (Artist + Curator Talk at 7:30 PM)
