EXHIBIT ON VIEW SEPTEMBER 24–NOVEMBER 7, 2026: Sawyer Yards presents “Destiny’s Print” featuring more than 100 community-created collages on view at Sabine Street Studios in the East Corridor Gallery.

OPENING RECEPTION: Thursday, September 24, 2026 | 6–8 PM

“Destiny’s Print” celebrates the art of collage through the work of Vietnamese American artist Kim Pham, internationally recognized Houston artist Robert Hodge, and the Houston Citywide Collage Project. Bringing together contemporary approaches to analog collage, the exhibition highlights the medium’s versatility while showcasing the richness and diversity of Houston’s artistic community.

Alongside works by Pham and Hodge, the exhibition features more than 100 community-created collages by participants from across Houston. Spanning different ages, cultures, backgrounds, and levels of artistic experience, the works demonstrate how a shared medium can give rise to an extraordinary range of individual voices.

Kim Pham (L15A) is a Vietnamese American multidisciplinary artist whose collage practice began through art therapy following the loss of her father and a diagnosis of bipolar disorder. Working primarily in analog collage and mixed media, she explores healing, memory, and transformation while advocating for greater visibility of Southeast Asian American artists and challenging stigma surrounding mental health.

Robert Leroy Hodge is a Houston-based interdisciplinary artist, curator, and musician whose work draws from African American history, music, and culture. Deeply rooted in Houston’s historic Third Ward, his practice spans collage and mixed media, and his broader contributions to the city’s arts community include curating exhibitions and mentoring emerging artists.
