SATURDAY, SEPTEMBER 26, 2026 | 8 PM–MIDNIGHT: BLOC Gallery is pleased to present Sorceress Stories, a group exhibition by Texas-based artists Alice Gunn and Beryl Rivkah. Opening as the season shifts into autumn, Sorceress Stories invites viewers into a world of transformation, mystery, and ancestral wisdom. This duo exhibition showcases the archetypal Sorceress through multiple forms and incarnations, exploring her timeless presence as an outsider, healer, and keeper of hidden knowledge.

Through two intertwining collections of paintings, Alice Gunn and Beryl Rivkah explore the limitations of the Sorceress’s transformations, the cosmic intelligences that shape her, and the ways her body holds and expresses this knowledge. Rooted in themes of intuition, power, and metamorphosis, the exhibition evokes the spirit of the season – a time of reflection, change, and connection to the unseen.
