SUNDAY, OCTOBER 11, 2026 | 12–3 PM: Children and families are invited to turn pavement into a colorful celebration of peace, friendship, and hope at Our Texas Cultural Center.

Using colorful sidewalk chalk, children and families will be encouraged to express their ideas about peace, friendship, kindness, unity, and a world without war. The event is designed to bring families and the Houston community together through art and a positive message.

Children of all ages are welcome to participate, and no professional art experience is necessary—just imagination and a desire to create.

Participation is free. Chalk will be provided, and prizes will be awarded to participants. Advance registration is requested.
